Celebrating 163 years of personal service in 2012, TEETERS' Funeral Chapel is currently led by the first Richard Teeter's great-grandson, Dick Teeter and his daughter Julia Teeter-Seiler, the fifth generation in the family firm. They are assisted by Funeral Associate Mark Milton James and additional long-time staff members. "The tradition of service excellence established by our founder is the goal of each of us at TEETERS' Funeral Chapel. We make every effort to provide caring, compentent and satisfactory service to all who come to us for help," Dick Teeter emphasizes. |
|
Now in our 2nd century of service to Hawley and the Lake Region community, TEETERS' Funeral Chapel continues to offer compassionate, affordable and dignified funeral arrangements.
"Each funeral is keyed to meet the individual needs of the families we serve," says President and Supervisor Richard "Dick" Teeter, "whether it is to be traditional or contemporary, religious or non-sectarian, burial or cremation.
" Our commitment to serve had its start way back in 1849 when young cabinetmaker Richard Adam Teeter settled in Hawley. His fine hand-built coffins and furniture began TEETERS', our two family-owned businesses now operated by our fourth and fifth generations."
