Celebrating 163 years of personal service in 2012, TEETERS' Funeral Chapel is currently led by the first Richard Teeter's great-grandson, Dick Teeter and his daughter Julia Teeter-Seiler, the fifth generation in the family firm.  They are assisted by Funeral Associate Mark Milton James and additional long-time staff members.

" Our commitment to serve had its start way back in 1849 when young cabinetmaker Richard Adam Teeter settled in Hawley.  His fine hand-built coffins and furniture began TEETERS', our two family-owned businesses now operated by our fourth and fifth generations."
