Julia Jackson, age 96, of Greentown died Saturday, January 9, 2010 at St. Mary's Villa in Elmhurst.

Mrs. Jackson was born July 31, 1913 in Ansonia, CT and was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Gandza) Koval.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by four nieces, Dorothy Tietjen of Raritan, NJ; Patricia Sjogren of Madison, CT; Patricia Jackson of Oradell, NJ; Joan Razlowski of Ansonia, CT; one nephew, Kenneth Quinn of River Edge, NJ three grandnieces, Cathy Cassel of Greentown, PA; Ellen Tietjen of Raritan, NJ; Helene Garrick of Guilford, CT; and one grandnephew, Greg Sjogren of Pomfert, CT.

The funeral will be Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 11:30am at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 300 Elm St., Oradell, NJ. Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
