Mary Elisabeth Kiesendahl died the evening of January 9th, 2010.  Although stricken with Alzheimer’s Disease, she exuded love to those around her until her death; she may not have known your name but she continued to show her love.

She is predeceased by her husband, Harry Kiesendahl, and her brother, George Mould.  She is survived by her brother and his wife:  Bobby and Donna Mould; her two sons and their partners:  John and Patti Kiesendahl and Steve Kiesendahl and James Panto; and her daughter:   Nancy K. Bloch; her nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY, April 22nd, 1926, to her parents Stanley and Elisabeth (Ferr) Mould.  She spent most of early life in Baldwin, NY, where she graduated from Baldwin High School in 1944 and met her husband Harry.  Mary moved to Hawley, PA, with her husband and three children in 1958.  She and Harry founded Woodloch Pines Resort, where she worked alongside her family and the staff she considered family for over 40 years.

Mary also dedicated much time volunteering on the Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Board and was a member of the Woodloch Ladies Golf League.  Aunt Mary, as she was known, welcomed everyone she met as if they were guests in her own home and welcomed many into her heart as her dear and beloved friends.  We all love better for having been loved by Mary.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, Jan. 12, from 2 to 5:30 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the Inn at Woodloch Pines, Welcome Lake Rd, Hawley, PA. Private burial will be held at Indian Orchard Cemetery, Honesdale.
