Richard D. Shekailo, age 57, of Conashaugh Lakes, Milford died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, NY.

Mr. Shekailo was born June 15, 1952 in Rockville Centre, NY and was the son Harry and the late Amelia (Hancharuk) Shekailo.

He retired in 2003 as a superintendent from Brooklyn Housing Authority.


He is survived by his wifeof 37 years: Margaret "Peggy" (Fratinardo) Shekailo and one son: Keith Shekailo of Spotswood, NJ; his father, Harry Shekailo; and three brothers: David Shekailo of E. Islip, LI, NY, Victor Shekailo of Stewart, FL, Greg Shekailo of Norfork, VA.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Cremation was at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel, PA.
