Rose will truely be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time of sorrow.

Melanie J. Chiappone, January 21, 2010
Rose she was a fire cracker of a woman! I worked with and met Rose when I was hired at Wallenpaupack H.S. in 2002 as the 1st hall monitor. Though I only knew her for 8 years she was a shinning star and a very close friend to me. She was like a mother figure to me and I will miss her dearly. I am very, very thankful for the time I spent getting to know her over the years; and just spending time with her at work and laughing at little things. I am also greatful that our paths had crossed. Rose called me about 3 weeks ago to see how I was feeling, because I had been recovering from surgery, and I am so thankful to GOD that she called me,I will never forget Rose or that phone call! She was my coleage & great friend and I will miss her dearly. However, she is now in Heaven with My own mother who passed away on Sept. 24, 2009 at the age of 64 also. I hope they meet in Heaven and Look down over all of us and keep us safe! I am very sorry for the loss of your Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Aunt! She will be missed by so many and know that I am praying for your family to be at peace in your hearts and know that she is in the hands of the All Mighty GOD! As Rose walked through those gates know that she has been welcomed with open arms by the Creator Himself! GOD Bless all of you and I am very sorry for your lose! Melanie J. Chiappone

Rose will be sadly missed. I will always remember our working together when I worked at the high school and your family living behind our home in Hawley. May God grant you peace in her passing.

Laura Kennedy, January 21, 2010
Rose was a wonderful person, friend, mother, and wife. She loved her family more than seemed humanly possible. I was privileged to observe how she raised her children and it was truly inspiring! Her love of Jack was all encompassing. The best word to describe Rose was "genuine". She will be dearly missed by all who knew this quiet, gentle soul.

Carole and Al Cannon, January 21, 2010
During this difficult time, find some comfort in knowing so many share your sorrow. Rose's courage during this battle was an inspiration. Her will to live could only be surpassed by the love she had for her family. She will be missed, but will live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew her.

Deborah Chandler, January 21, 2010
Dear John, My thoughts and blessings are with you at this time of transition. May Rosemary have a blessed journey, Deborah

Kelly Obermiler, January 21, 2010
To Rose's Family, Rose was such a wonderful person. She had a kind word each morning when I walked in to school. It hasn't been the same without her, we miss her dearly. She was so proud of her family and their accomplishments and of her animals and her farm, she always had stories to tell! I am very sorry for her loss and for our loss.

Ellen Strauskulage, January 21, 2010
If I needed to call the high school, Rose was always cheery and cordial. She was a fighter and a survivor; what wonderful attributes to pass on to her children and grandchildren. May wonderful memories of her guide her family and loved ones through this difficult time.

Mrcia and David Dunsmore, January 21, 2010
Such a beautiful smiling face has Rose. She was a fixture for me at the high school when my kids were there. A real person in the sea of bureaucracy. And later on as she returned to home and hearth just the most pleasant countenance and warm heart. I feel so lucky to have made her acquaintance.

Anita D Kretchik, January 21, 2010
I am so saddened by the loss of Rosemary. I remember all of her help as we began our adventure with the ACS Relay For Life way back in 1995. Her smiling face and great attitude as you entered the WAHS office will always be remembered. I shall pray for the family since I am sure that Rosemary is with her God.

Alison Hoffmann, January 21, 2010
Rose always had a smile and a hello every time I visited the office. She was a kind, caring woman who will be missed greatly!

Lori Gearhart, January 21, 2010
Rose was the very best secretary anyone could work with. She was always a helpful friend and had a smile for me each morning. I will always remember her fondly.

Lisa Gordon Boyle, January 21, 2010
I will dearly miss my Aunt Rose. Some of my favorite family vacations were spent visiting her, John, Erin and Shawn- may they find peace in knowing she was loved by us all. May we all find the ability to embrace life the way she did, with a gentle spirit, a smile on her face and a sincere heart.

Grant Kretchik , January 21, 2010
Thank you Rose for all the years you smiled and laughed at me when I was coming in late or leaving early- and for all the hard times you gave me about it. JUst wanted to let you know I was thinking of you fondly today.

Debbie Russell, January 21, 2010
I got to know Rosemary from Wallenpaupack High School. She always greeted you with a smile when you went into the High School. A very nice lady. My prayers go out to the family. No one will take her place at the School

The first time Rose and I met was in 1987 when I was hired to work in the district office. She always had a kind word, remarkable insight into people and great advice. She was an inspiration to me and also offered great support as a friend and co-worker. My deepest sympathies to her family - she loved you all so very much! Her eyes would get that extra twinkle when she spoke of her grandchildren.

Ann Monaghan, January 22, 2010
Rose was one of the first people I met at WAHS and she taught me one very valuable lesson--the public deserved our best. No matter what kind of day she was having she never failed to smile at the person who walked through the door or to speak to them in her soft voice and take care of whatever they needed graciously and efficiently. She set the bar high and we continue to say "When Rosie was here..." There will never be another one like her and she will be missed by all who knew her. You are in my thoughts and prays.

Gene and Debby Shultz, January 22, 2010
Gene and I both worked with Rose for years, she was a wonderful person with a kind heart and a warm smile for everyone. Gene had the pleasure of teaching your children and remembers how Rose's face would light up when she would tell us about them and their children. I am sure you know that everyone at Wallenpaupack Area School District will be keeping you and your family in their prayers. Rose will be missed by all of us. Fondly the Shultz Family

Gary Kopesky, January 22, 2010
Dear Sean and Gordon Family, My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Even though I haven't seen you in a long time, I do think of you and your parents often. Your Mom was a kind and gentle spirit who always had a warm smile.

Adrianne Picciano, January 23, 2010
Rose was such a sweet woman with very peaceful energy.

Thomas Bates, January 24, 2010
For several years Rose was like a second mother to me when I spent countless hours as a guest in her home. In all that time I never saw her without a smile on her face or ever hear her have a bad thing to say about anyone. In the times that I was able to visit years later I saw that same smile appear whenever the conversation turned to her grandchildren. She is a huge reason her children are the great parents they are today and I like to think that I am a better person and parent for having known her. She will be greatly missed.
