Jonathan Luke "Johnny Rotten" Blauvelt, age 53, of Hawley died unexpectedly, Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale.
Mr. Blauvelt was born October 18, 1956 in Honesdale, PA and was the son of the late David and Jane (McGonigal) Blauvelt.

He was a truck driver for Pike Environmental.

Jon was a friend to all who loved to work in his garage with his friends and make a good home for his wife. He would have given the shirt off his back to anyone. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 8 years: Barbara(Schilling) Blauvelt; daughter & fiancee, Alyssa Blauvelt & Gary Rush of Pittston, PA; brother & sister-in-law, David & Jorja Blauvelt; nieces, Tami & Tara Blauvelt; sister & brother-in-law, Mary & Paul Wicksnes-Chlebowski; nephew, Matthew & Melissa WIcksnes; sister & brother-in-law, Jane & Bob Olsen; Nephew & Niece, Scott & Rita Olsen; nephew, Bill & Diane Phillips; nephew, John Phillips; nephew, Charlie Williams He was predeceased by his sister, Diane Rosencrance.

A memorial mass will be held Saturday, February 27, at 11 AM at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Shohola, followed by a luncheon at the Central Fire House in Bohemia.

Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
