August VonGlahn, age 82, of, Greentown died Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Hospice Community Care in Dunmore.
Mr. VonGlahn was born October 16, 1927 in Queens, NY.

He served in the Army and was a retired painter.

He is survived by his wife: Vera M.(Holmes) VonGlahn; one daughter: Diane Hailey of NC
One step daughter, Janet Wendel of Greentown, PA; one sister: Anna Lee and two brothers: Henry and Clouts VonGlahn

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
