|  Edith Marie Opalek, age 53, of Lakeville died Friday, July 30, 2010, at Community Medical Center in Scranton following a brief illness. Born October 2, 1956, in Long Island, NY, she was the daughter of August V. Opalek of Lakeville and the late Edith (Meschino) DeCristoforo. A Lakeville resident for 9 years and formerly of West Islip, NY, she was employed as a secretary by Chant Real Estate in Hamlin. She was a dedicated and loving daughter, mother of four and grandmother of two. The funeral was held on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010 at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. Burial was held at Pine Lawn Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.  | |||
