Patricia J. Bachmann, age 74, of The Hideout, Lake Ariel died Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. She was born March 17, 1936, in Queens, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, John J. Bachmann, in 1996.

A homemaker, she was formerly of Huntington Station, Long Island, NY, and had been a Hideout resident for 23 years. She was a former member of Hideout Adult Social Group and attended Hamlin Pentecostal Assembly of God.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Mary Bachmann of The Hideout, Lake Ariel; seven grandchildren: Michael, Nicole, Christine, Dana, Frank, Matthew and Stephanie; and one great grandchild: Ryan.

Calling hours will be Thursday, August 19, from 12:30 to 2 pm at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Thursday, August 19, at 2:00 at the funeral home. Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
