|  Ilia A. Vanno, age 80, of McDade Apartments, Scranton, died Monday, August 23, 2010, at VNA Hospice at CMC, Scranton. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Frank G. Vanno. Born September 18, 1929, in Lords Valley, PA, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Leddi (Singer) Buckingham. She was a graduate of Zarephath Bible School. Formerly of Hawley, she was a homemaker and a member of Blooming Grove Baptist Church. She liked crossword puzzles, reading and sewing. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Hazel McCastlen of Detroit, MI. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Bortree, and a brother, Howard (Howdie) Buckingham. A Memorial Service will be held at a future date to be announced. Private burial will be held at Green Gates Cemetery.  | |||
