Dorothy Margaret Crane, age 85, of Tafton and formerly of Mt. Pocono, died Monday, August 30, 2010 at home.

Mrs. Crane was born April 11, 1925 in Paterson, NJ and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ruth (Kearny) Dougherty. She was predeceased by her husband, David William Crane, a daughter, Ruthann Seland and a grandson, William D. Bell.

She was a waitress and loved to play bingo.

She is survived by four daughters: Dorothy E. Bell of Rockaway , NJ, Janet Cabel of Tafton, PA, Bonnie Erm of Sussex, NJ, Randy Philhower of Shohola, PA and one son: David C. Crane of Paupacken Lakes, PA; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 4th, at 10:00AM at B.V.M Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley by Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Ledgedale, PA.
