Helen Davis Bonifer, age 94, of Tanglwood Lakes, Greentown, died Friday, January 6, 2012, at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center, Lake Ariel.

Born December 25, 1917, in Chicago, IL, she was a retired registered nurse. A Greentown resident for 30 years, she had formerly been a resident of Laurelton, NY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clifford Davis, in 1974.

She is survived by John Bonifer of Greentown, and a daugher, Erin Thompkins.

Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. Interment will be held at a future date in Long Island National Cemetery.
