Laurence M. Koch, age 63, of Hemlock Farms, Hawley died unexpectedly, Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at home.

Mr. Koch was born July 19, 1948 in Jersey City, NJ and was the son of the late Martin and Mildred (Greenthaler) Koch.

He was the owner of the Pickerel Inn and a Pike Co. State Constable for 24 years. He loved spending days off at his cabin in Porter Twp. A Union carpenter for most of his life, he built his house and his cabin by hand. He dearly loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife and partner of 20 years: Theresa(Gibson) Koch; two daughters: Laura Rotonde of Dumont, NJ; Tara & her husband Rob Forsythe of Paupack, PA; one son: Laurence M. Jr. & his wife Kelly Koch of Hawley, PA; sister Blossom & her husband, Carl Parsells of Mt. Holly, VT; six grandchildren, Gretchen & Ian Koch; Richard & Reese Rotonde; Matthew & Shane Forsythe.

Calling hours will be Friday, January, 20th from 4 to 8 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Saturday, January 21st at 9 AM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley.

Burial will be in Mt. Salem Cemetery in Wantage Twp., NJ.
