Karen M. Hendershot, age 66, a lifelong Hawley resident, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale.

Mrs. Hendershot was born December 18, 1945 in Hawley, PA and was the daughter of the late Alan and Katherine (Luster) Campfield. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Alan.

She was a secretary to the Principal at Wallenpaupack Area School District and was a loving wife, mother and friend.

She is survived by her husbandof 45 years: Robert J.Hendershot; two daughters: Nicole Hendershot of Harrisburg, PA; Lori & Andre Lewis of Harrisburg, PA; two brothers: Richard Campfield of Tink Wig, Hawley, PA, James Campfield of Hawley, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Saturday, Jan. 21st from 2:30 to 5 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. Private burial in Green Gates Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
