Mary F. Homer, age 90, of Barker Street apartments in Hawley and formerly of Lords Valley & Warrington, PA, died Monday, November 24, 2014 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale.
Mrs. Homer was born August 11, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Ashworth) Wilson. She was predeceased by her husband, John Homer, Jr. in 2008.
She was formerly employed by Ivy Guild Planter in Lords Valley, PA. She loved her entire family and was sweet to all her friends.
She is survived by one daughter & son-in-law: Nancy and Bob Wall of Tafton, PA and one son: John Homer III of Ft. Meyers , FL; four grandchildren: Rev. Kristen Wall-Love and husband, Bob, Robert and his wife, Shari Wall; Daniel Homer; Michelle Homer and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 10th at 11am at Hawley United Methodist Church, 315 Church St., Hawley with Pastor Anna Layman Knox officiating.
Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery in Hawley, PA.
Memorials may be made to Blooming Grove Fire Dept.
