Namiko Hatton, age 94, of Blooming Grove, died Monday, December 8, 2014 at home. Mrs. Hatton was born March 1, 1920 in Kapaa, Kauai, HI and was the daughter of the late Jitsutaro and Ise (Izumi) Nakamoto. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Hatton, in 2011. She was employed as a machine operator by Sherman Mills and loved to knit and cook. She is survived by one son: David Hatton of Blooming Grove, PA; Step Son, Fred Hatton of Blooming Grove , PA; four grandchildren , Carrie Hatton of Lakeville, PA, Danielle Anderson of Hawley, PA; Sophie Hatton of Syracuse, NY; Peter Hatton of Syracuse, NY, four great grandchildren and a sister: Harriet Nakamoto of HI. Calling hours will be Monday, December 15th from 10 to noon at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA, followed by the funeral service at noon with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Jr., Retired Pastor Hawley United Methodist Church, officiating. Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel and inurnment will be in Green Gates Cemetery.
