Lucille Dickerson, age 96, of Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley, died Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Nathaniel Dickerson, in 2008. They were married on July 8, 1945. Born July 10, 1918, in Ansted, WV, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Lucy (Woolridge) Randall. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a licensed practical nurse. She had lived with her daughter, Drema, for the last six years, but had been a Hawley area resident for 20 years. Prior to that, she had been a resident of Charleston, WV, where she was a member of Ebeneezer Baptist Church of Beckley, WV. Lucille loved to cook and take care of her family. Her beloved husband, Percy, worked as a coal miner. Lucille's family had dearly wished to see Lucille and Percy dancing together just one more time. They are at peace knowing that they are together again in heaven. She is survived by one daughter: Drema Jackson of Hawley; twelve grandchildren: Drema Robinson, Penny Littlejohn, Angel Anderson, Katherine Smith, Lisa Smith, Kent Smith, Deborah Jackson-Graham, Donna Jackson, Raymond Jackson, Gary Jackson, Edward Jackson and Richard Jackson; and many great, great-great and great-great-great grandchildren. Lucille was the last survivor of twelve siblings. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lucille Patricia Smith. A memorial service will be held at a future date to be announced. Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
