Benjamin Baker, age 55, of Paupack and formerly of Yonkers, NY died unexpectedly Monday, March 30, 2015.
Mr. Baker was born August 20, 1959 in Yonkers, NY and was the son of Catherine (Somoila) and the late Louis Baker. He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy (Valentin) Baker in 2009.
He was a building maintenance worker and a cab driver and worked at the YMCA in Yonkers.
Ben enjoyed going to the casino and was a collector of many different types of items and was generous with his time & spirit.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine (Somoila) Baker of Yonkers, NY; sister & brother-in-law, Carol Ann & Rolando Marrero of Brentwood, TN; one nephew, Rolando Louis Marrero; one niece, Nicole Marie Marrero.
Calling hours will be Friday, April 3rd from 3 to 7 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA with a prayer service at 6 PM. A graveside service will be held Saturday April 4th at 11 AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY
