Obituary of Alfred G. Oriani

Alfred G. Oriani, age 85, of Friendly Acres, Hawley died Friday, April 17, 2015 at home. Mr. Oriani was born July 21, 1929 in Jersey City, NJ and was the son of the late Robert and Isabelle (O'Keefe) Oriani. He was predeceased by two sons, Alfie & Ronnie and a daughter Gail. Alfred drove bus in both Jersey City & highway touring. His hobbies were his family, fishing, coins, home movies, watching NCIS and Walker Texas Ranger and Turner Classic Movies. He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Elizabeth Ann (Krautsack) Oriani, five daughters: Lisa & husband, Danilo Arsenijevith of Summerfield, FL; Kim & husband, Danny Kemery of Beach Lake, PA; Carolyn Heron of Scranton, PA Marie Fifth & husband, Austin Tease of Jim Thorpe, PA; Janet & Bill Geize of Chesapeake, VA and two sons: Mark Oriani of Hawley, PA, Gary Oriani of NC; 37 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, his special niece, Donna Suarez and several other nieces & nephews. Calling hours will be Monday, April 20th from 3 to 7 PM and Tuesday, April 21st from 1 to 2 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Tuesday, April 21st at 2 PM at Teeters' East Chapel with Rev. Edward K. Erb, Rector Grave Episcopal church, officiating. Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel, PA . In lieu of flowers friends and family are asked to donate to the family to assist with final expenses.
