Obituary of Doris G. Hamblin

Doris G. Hamblin, age 71, of Masthope, Lackawaxen died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at home. Mrs. Hamblin was born February 9, 1944 in Cornwall, NY and was the daughter of the late Ward Brower, Jr. and Doris (Halsey) Babcock. Doris was predeceased by a brother, John Brower. She was a deli manager for A & P Markets who loved hiking, swimming, animals and going on motorcycle rides. Doris was a member of DCPA. She is survived by her husband of 48 years: David W.Hamblin; six sisters: Beatrice Amato, Brenda Brower, Barbara Brower, Lorna Barone, Lauren Rafus, Lana Babcock and three brothers: Ward Brower, III, Halsey Brower; Farrand Brower; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday, April 23rd from 6 to 7:45 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA with a memorial service at 7:45 PM, with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Jr., Retired Pastor Hawley United Methodist Church, officiating. Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
