Barbara Ann Ellingsen, age 76, of Hawley died Friday, May 15, 2015, at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ellingsen. They were married in 1959.
Born October 26, 1938, in Newburg, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Fremgen. Formerly of Newburgh, NY, she had been an inspector for a coat manufacturer prior to her retirement.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son: Alan Ellingsen; two daughters:Doreen Richardson and her husband Jay and Linda Ellingsen; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, at 3:00 PM at Bethel Lutheran Church, Church Rd., Rowland, PA, with Rev. Norman R. Beighley officiating. Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel, PA.
