Eleanor J. Thomas, age 87, died Sunday, June 21, 2015 at VNA Hospice At Geisinger CMC in Scranton.
Mrs. Thomas was born March 16, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Isabella (Gerdowsky) Stazyk. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen J. Thomas in 1978.
She was employed as an administrative secretary and was a life member of the American Legion Post 1771 in Brooklyn, NY.
She is survived by one daughter & son-in-law: Sharon & Brian Dooley of Lackawaxen, PA; six grandchildren: Cody, Meredith, Olivia, Shawn, Travis, Dustin.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
