Obituary of John T. Emmott

John T. Emmott, age 77, of Tink Wig, Hawley and formerly of Wescosville, PA, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at home. Mr. Emmott was born October 19, 1937 in North Andover, MA and was the son of the late George and Marion (Nolan) Emmott. He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology and earned his MS from Newark College of Engineering, now New Jersey Institute of Technology. John was employed as an electrical engineer by ATT for 38 Years. He was active with his therapy dog, Gil. He is survived by his wife of 56 years: Yvette(Guerin) Emmott; three daughters & sons-in-law, Sondra & Mark Castner of Allison Park, PA; Donna & John Greenstein of Lansdale, PA; Cynthia & Scott Mugavero of Wescosville, PA; 5 grandchildren: Amanda, Tyler, Cameron, Alyssa, Ashlyn and one brother: George A Emmott of Naples, FL. A memorial Mass will be held Monday, July 13th at 10 AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley. Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel , PA Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Pike Unit, 110 W. Harford St, Milford, PA 18337.
