Judith A. Myers, age 73, of Honesdale died Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center, Honesdale. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Alvin Frederick "Bock" Myers. Born September 1, 1941, in Newton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Magdelen (Versma) D'Annibale. A resident of Hawley for most of her life, she was a cafeteria worker for Wallenpaupack Area School District prior to her retirement. At one time, she had also been a hairdresser in her own shop in Hawley. She was a long-time member of BVM Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Hawley. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Theresa Pfund and her husband Bob of Honesdale, Joseph Myers and his long-time companion Abbie Brown of Andover, NJ, Margaret Veith and her companion Scott Achenbach of Tink Wig, Hawley, Robert Myers and his wife Michelle of Hawley, and Debra Freda and her husband John of Tafton; two sisters: Barbara Hinton of San Diego, CA, and Margaret Strong of Hawthorne, CA; his grandchildren: Nathan and Rory Pfund, Kristen Hunter, Mark Brown, Suzy Freda, Joseph Myers and Nicholas Myers; and one great grandchild: Avery Hunter. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, October 3, at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley, with Deacon Matthew Lorent of BVM Queen of Peace RC Church officiating. Calling hours will be prior to the memorial service from 11 AM to Noon at the funeral home. Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. Private nurnment will take place at BVM. Queen Of Peace Cemetery, Hawley. Donations may be made in Judy's memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
