Obituary of Patrick John Russell

Patrick John Russell, age 30, died unexpectedly Sunday, January 24, 2016. Born December 19, 1985, in Honesdale, he was the son of Patrick and Lynne Marie (Keuling) Russell. A graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School, he was the quarterback for Wallenpaupack Football and short stop for Wallenpaupack Baseball. He loved many other sports including hunting and fishing with his family and was a New York Giants fan. He was also a past member of Forest Volunteer Fire Department and BVM Queen of Peace Church. A resident of Costa Mesa, CA, he was a pile driver and belonged to the Southern California Pile Driver's Union, Local #2375, out of Wilmington, CA. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother: Cody J. Russell of Hawley; his maternal grandmother: Katherine Keuling and her companion Ed Gibbons of Hawley; his paternal grandparents: John and Dorothy Russell of Hawley; the love of his life for over 8 years: Guita Nouranian; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, John Keuling. There will be visitation at Teeters' East Chapel on Friday, February 12th from 4 to 8 PM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at BVM Queen of Peace Church on Saturday, February 13th at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wallenpaupack Buckhorn Boosters Football , c/o Dime Bank, PO Box 499, 99 Welwood Ave., Hawley, PA 18428
