Obituary of Regina Perucki

Regina Perucki, age 91, of Hawley died Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Francis Perucki, in 1978. Born May 28, 1924, in Throop, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Henrietta (Fabjanska) Zavistoski. She was a former resident of Brooklyn and Throop, PA. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a teacher's aide for Serendipity Daycare. She was a member of BVM Queen of Peace RC Church, Hawley. She is survived by one daughter: Diane Motroni and her husband Mark of East Meadow, NY; two grandsons: Robert Motroni and his wife Kayla of Seaford, NY, and Joseph Motroni and his wife Jenna of Stony Brook, NY; and her great granddaughter: Ashley Rose Motroni. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise; two sisters, Lottie Bowen and Jennie Jacobs; and two brothers, Chester and John Zavistoski. There will be a Funeral Mass on Friday, April 15, at 10:00 AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, celebrated by Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor. Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. Inurnment will be held at a future date at St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Dickson City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any local American veteran's association.
