Obituary of Barbara J Porcoro

Barbara J Porcoro, age 73, of Lakeville died Friday, May 6, 2016, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Frank Porcoro. Born June 24, 1942, in Bayonne, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Sal and Hattie Cennimo. Formerly of Saddle Brook, NJ, she was a graduate of Lodi High School. Prior to her retirement, she worked as Assistant Administrator for Nursery Rhymes Nursery School. She had also worked at Center Stage Dance Studio in Maywood, NJ. She loved working with kids and all kinds of crafts, especially tole painting. For many years, she participated in the Bike-A-Thon to raise funds for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son: Victor Porcoro and his wife Laura Carucci of Saddle Brook, NJ; her daughter: Janice Porcoro of Toms River, NJ; a sister: Mary Ann Dare of Elmwood Park, NJ; and one brother: Louis Cennimo of Elmwood Park, NJ.
