S. Lynn (Crouthamel) Jeffries, age 74, formerly of Paupack, died Sunday, July 31, 2016 in Hawley. She is survived by her husband, Robert Jeffries. Born April 13, 1942, in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Sally (Pawling) Prizer. She was a resident of Paupack for many years with her first husband, David K. Crouthamel, who preceded her in death in 2001. She completed her studies at Peirce School of Business Administration in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to her retirement, she worked at AM Skier Agency in Hawley and then with Jeffrey Thol - NY Life Insurance in Honesdale. Her true passions were her family and traveling. Lynn raised her family in Paupack with Dave enjoying the lake region. She spent the last decade of her life traveling throughout the United States with her husband Bob in their motor home. They were proud to be able to say that they had visited all 50 states. In addition to her husband Bob, she is survived by her children: Allen Crouthamel and his wife Danielle of Paupack, Amy Wacker and her husband Dave of Hawley, Mark Crouthamel and his wife Mary of Tafton, and Drew Crouthamel and his wife Janine of Paupack; one sister: Susan Moyer and her husband Rick of Pottstown; one brother: S. David Prizer of Pottstown; a stepson: Rob Jeffries lll of California; and her beloved 11 grandchildren: Heather, Alexandria, David, Jacob, Aleaha, Olivia, Riley, Gabriel, Logan, Alec and Alana; also by her four nephews and their families whom she always enjoyed spending time with. Lynn will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and friend who gave of herself tirelessly to many family members. She was a member of the Paupack United Methodist Church and of the National Ski Patrol/Tanglwood Volunteer Ski Patrol. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
