William A Wells, Jr, age 71, of Hawley died unexpectedly Friday, September 9, 2016.
Mr. Wells was born August 12, 1945 in Honesdale, PA and was the son of the late William A. Sr. and Edith Loretta (Kelly) Wells. He was also predeceased by a grandson, Corey Wells.
He was an excavator who liked to fish and was former member of Forest Volunteer Fire Co.,
He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Betty (Williams) Wells, Jr and one son: Dean Wells of Hawley, PA, a granddaughter, Cara Wells of Hawley, PA; a grandson, Brett Wells of Hawley, PA; two great granddaughters, Nevaeh Wells; Payton Wells; three sisters: Barbara Herzog of Lakeville, PA, Edie Edsell of Bethany, PA and Randy Wells of Hawley, PA and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 14th at 10:00 at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev. William Samford, Pastor 1st Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Indian Orchard Cemetery.
