Lorraine A. Weems, age 69, of Greeley died Friday, September 9, 2016, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Larry G. Weems, in 2000.
Born April 4, 1947, in at Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Sophie (Horin) Rodnicki. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a secretary. A Greeley resident for over 30 years, she loved to garden and spend time in the outdoors.
She is survived by her son: Kenneth Weems and his wife Maria of Hawley and her cousin: Karen Mystkowski of Elizabeth, NJ.
Calling hours will be Friday, September 16, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The Prayer Service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Indian Orchard Cemetery, Honesdale.
