Obituary of Donald Peter Roth

Donald Peter Roth Jr. of Pleasant Mount died Thursday, Decemeber 8, 2016, at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore following an illness. Born in Ft. Bragg, NC, he was the son of Josephine Theresa (Ripp) Roth-Pastore of Lodi, NJ and Donald Peter Roth Sr. of Arizona City, AZ. He worked as a truck driver and had previously been a resident of Milford and Honesdale. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed playing in the Men's Softball League and had also played baseball when he was younger. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters: Patricia Starcev of Walden, NY and Venus Roth-Gabell of Hawley; three nieces, three nephews,two great nieces, one great nephew, many cousins as well as extended family members. A future memorial service will be held at a date to be announced at the Church At Hemlock Farms.
