Guillermo Lagos our beloved patriarch was lost to our family on January 4, 2017. Guillermo (Bill), known to us at Tata, was loved by his children, grand-children, great grand-children and a great great grandchild. Born July 22, 1919 in Chillan, Chile; he lived and was educated in Chile, working as a CEO at Geigy Laboratories. On December 4, 1965, he arrived in New York and began a new life with his family in America and a career as a concierge on 5th avenue in New York City. Guillermo (Bill) also known as Tata, is survived by two daughters: Maria Victoria Olesen and her husband Robert Olesen and Patricia Lagos Zuvic. Six grandchildren and their families with eleven great-grandchildren: Rodrigo Mujica with Justin and Haylee. Denise Zuvic and Timothy Troast with Kyle and Zachary Zuvic and Gloria Camus. Ximena and Jimmy Colban with Amanda, Emma and Alexa. Stephanie Zuvic and Jeff Dubranski with baby Jerry. Christopher Gellman with Logan and Courtlynd. Lastly, Taylor Schlegel. To complete the family our fifth generation, his great, great granddaughter Drella Mujica. Private graveside services will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Paupack, at the convenience of the family. In honor of his beloved companions Goldie and Onyx, Memorials may be made to Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Road, Honesdale, PA 18431.
