Obituary of Maryann Feminella

Maryann Sis" Feminella, age 80, of Lackawaxen died Monday, May 8, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Feminella Sr. in 1989.

Born December 16, 1936, in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Frances (Lull) Cunningham. She owned and operated her own dance studio, Mary Ann's Dance Studio in Staten Island. She also worked as an executive secretary for Chemical Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank. She retired in 1999.

Formerly of Staten Island, she had been a Lackawaxen resident for 10 years. She also spent many wonderful summers at Cranberry Lake in New Jersey. She enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family and was a lover of all things snowman.

She is survived by one daughter: Kim Tortorella and her husband Michael of Lackawaxen; her grandchildren: Lynn and Kimmie Tortorella, Laura and Michelle Feminella, and Nicholas Feminella III; one sister: Nancy Dolan of Staten Island, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas Feminella Jr., and two brothers, William and Robert Cunningham.

A memorial mass will be held Saturday, May 13th at 12:30 at St. Christopher's Church, 130 Midland Ave, Staten Island, NY.

Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
