Obituary of Ann Marie Phillips

Ann Marie Phillips of Tafton died Friday, March 2, at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Edward Charles Barto. Born in Newton, NJ, she was the daughter of Evelyn Lorraine (Draughn) Nepa of New Jersey and the late Thomas Alva Phillips. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and worked a therapeutic support staff worker for special needs children. She was a member of Lafayette Federated Church in Lafayette, NJ, and was active in 4-H in her youth. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children: Danielle Marie Barto of Paupack, Jazmyne Rose Barto of Tafton, and Austin Charles Barto of Tafton; and two brothers: Michael Phillips of Hemlock Farms, Hawley, and David Phillips of Lafayette, NJ. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 6, from 1 to 3 PM and 6 to 8 PM, at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley. The funeral will follow at 8 PM at the funeral home. Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
