A few of my favorite memories of Aunt Millie are, sifting through her box of photographs with her, sliding, or more like bumping, down the steep stairs at her house on our bottoms. My grandson Gavin pushing her around the halls at Ellen Memorial.

Millie was an amazing woman I loved I got to spend time with her and it was my first day out of training I had the honor of meeting her. She will be greatly missed. Heaven gained an amazing woman. God bless.

Millie and my dad were cousins but it was my mother and Millie who became dear friends. They were great pals who had a lot in common and shared a close and wonderful friendship over the years. At 102, Millie outlived my mom by almost 25 years, but both were blessed to live long and happy lives. Imagine they’re having quite a joyful reunion!

Millie was such an inspiration to all who knew her. A delightful person to hold a conversation with and a memory like none other. She will be missed by all who had the great fortune of knowing her.
God rest my friend.

While on our trips out, Millie told us, our driver and I, so much of the town of Hawley and White Mills and her life. She was a wealth of information. I will always remember her riding in the parade and out for a turn about town with Mr. Zabady. Dear lady, you will be missed!

Miss Millie will be missed in this world, until we meet again! Thursdays will leave a hole in my heart but I will rejoice in knowing that she is home. As my Mom would sing to me, so too she sang with me … "I love you, a bushel and a peck; a bushel and a peck; and a hug around the neck" along with Eskimo noses kisses. No longer does Miss Millie need to imagine being at our Lord's feet and reveling in His glory!

I had the pleasure of meeting Millie this past January at Ellen Memorial when my mom became a resident there. I was totally amazed at the condition of Millie’s health and vibrant personality especially learning she was 102 years old!! I enjoyed every conversation Millie and I had! She so LOVED my LuLarue Leggins; always telling me how much she adored them & would love to own a pair. With that, I made sure to get her 2 or 3 pair of the Leggins!! She wore them proudly and thanked me everyday!! My family and I will truly miss Millie!!! She certainly made an unforgettable impression on all of us. RIP Millie.
