Dave and I have been friends since kindergarten. With Cindy, he hit the ball out of the park. They were the perfect team, each one complementing the other and bringing out the best.
Cindy’s kindness and generosity of spirit could not be contained, blooming into a beautiful smile that seemed to occupy her whole face. Whenever I saw her over the years—not enough, for sure—I was moved by her feisty will, peaceful demeanor, and her wonderful sense of humor. By her presence in it, she made the world a better place.
Blessings and love to all the Kerns and to Cindy’s entire family. We’ll see her again.
