Denise M. Brice, age 53, of Greeley and formerly of Hawley died Thursday, June 29, 2023.

Born March 8, 1970, in Brooklyn, NY, Denise the daughter of the late Eugene J. and Kathleen (Pratt) Brice Sr. She was a graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School, Class of 1989.

Denise was the former cook for Hawley Headstart and other locations. She most loved spending time with her daughter, Nevaeh.

She is survived by her daughter: Nevaeh Swartwood; her companion: Timothy Swartwood; her brother and sister-in-law: Gene and Denise Schmalzle Brice of Hawley; and three nieces: Briella, Kinzey and Sophia Brice.

There will be a memorial gathering at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 8, at Teeters' East Chapel, 507 Church St, Hawley.

Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory.
