Susan Mary Daniels, age 54, of Hawley died Friday, September 29, 2023 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, after a short bout with cancer.

Ms. Daniels was born March 5, 1969 in Honesdale, PA and was the daughter of Merry Ellen Myers Daniels and the late Ronald G. Daniels. In addition to her father she was predeceased by a brother, Jonathan Daniels and two nephews, Christian Williams and Jacob Daniels.

She is survived by her companion, Gene Chapman, one son: Andrew Chapman, her biggest gift, her mother and best friend, Merry Ellen Daniels, two sisters: Melinda Oettinger and Juliana Brussell, one brother, Michael and his wife, Ruth Daniels, many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly, Danielle Oettinger and John Burke, held a special place in her heart.

She had a great affection for her cat, Ke-Ke, It is because of her love of this cantankerous, often times down right mean cat that we ask for donations to C.Alley Cats, 203 Sunset Hill Road, Hawley, PA 18428.

The family would like to thank Jeanette Parshall, or Netty as Susie called her, for all the loving care she gave Susie when she needed it.
