Richard Lee Bartsch, age 92, of Tanglwood Lakes, Greentown passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, September 20, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Arlene Rose (Kenney) Bartsch.

Born May 19, 1932, in Teaneck, NJ, Richard was the son of the late Leon A. and Florence M. (Cox) Bartsch. An Air Force veteran and Coast Guard volunteer, he also belonged to a Studabaker club. Richard worked as a real estate appraiser until his retirement.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his dog Brutus; three daughters: Kerry J. Sciacca and her husband Michael of Lakeville, Shawn E. Rice of Baltimore, MD, and Noreen McGreary; two sons: Brian T. Bartsch and his wife Risa of Bloomington Heights, IL and Kevin J. Bartsch of Ft. Myers, FL; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Bartsch, just a week before Richard passed; as well as his son-in-law, Richard Rice.

Private cremation was held at the convenience of the family.
