Maureen McGinley, age 86, of Masthope, Lackawaxen died peacefully at home Monday, January 20, 2025.

Born May 14, 1938, in San Francisco, CA, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mabel (Parent) McGinley. Formerly of Shirley, NY, she had worked as a clerk in a medical office until her retirement. In her free time, Maureen enjoyed landscape painting, gardening and bird watching.

She is survived by her partner: Kelly Sauer of Lackawaxen; one son: Howard Horne of Northampton, PA; and her grandchildren: Jarred and his wife Makayla, Brianna and Devon.

There will be a Memorial Service at 4 PM on Wednesday, January 29 at Teeters' East Chapel, 507 Church St, Hawley, PA, with Deacon Paul Cooper officiating. There will be visitation immediately prior to the memorial service from 2 to 4 PM at the funeral home.

Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
