Joseph Charles Engelbert Obituary
Joseph Charles Engelbert, age 81, formerly of South Canaan, died Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Dunmore Health Care Center, Dunmore.
Born May 12, 1943, in West New York, NJ, he was the son of the late Theodore and Clara (Wiss) Engelbert.
He married Bernice Morris in 1973 and is survived by two sons: Mark Engelbert of Cupertino, CA, and Drew Engelbert, husband of Jennifer of Leesport, PA; and one sister: Elizabeth Weidenmuller of Montvale, NJ; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four siblings: Clara, Margaret, Theodore and Louise.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 2 PM on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Teeters’ Funeral Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley, PA 18428.
Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
