Sally Ann Foster, age 86, longtime resident of Hawley, entered into eternal peace, Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Born December 14, 1938, in Honesdale, Sally was one of five daughters born to the late John Arthur and Nina (Moules) Foster.

Known for saying "This is the best day ever!" Sally lived each and every day as though it was. From the early days working at the Honesdale Acme, bartending at the Boathouse, to chasing a hole in one at Cricket Hill Golf Club, Sally's motto lived in her each and every day.

Sally loved taking the family vacationing to the Jersey shore, Florida, and the Outer Banks. She was always ready for a new adventure.

Sally's free spirit, positive attitude, and unfailing love will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Sally is survived by four children: Joy Suzan Ulmer of Hawley, John Newenhouse and his wife Yan Wang of Warminster, PA, and their father Bill; Daniel Corcoran and his wife Lisa of Honesdale, and Bridget Corcoran of Hawley and their father Dan; three sisters: Susan Miszler, her identical twin sister, of Vero Beach, FL, Lois Stiteler of Coxsackie, NY, and Nina Foster of Moscow, PA; six grandchildren: Jamie Bennett and her husband Trey, Mindy Skelton and her husband Phil, Dylan Ulmer, Timothy Corcoran and his wife Alyssa, Sam Corcoran, and Katy Corcoran; as well as nine great grandchildren.

Sally was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Nina Gallanes; her sister, Linda Jones; and her son-in-law, Kevin Ulmer.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 11, from 4 PM to 7 PM at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, 507 Church St, Hawley, PA. There will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday, March 12, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 401 Church St., Hawley, with Pastor Adam C. Reinhardt officiating.
