Barbara Rose Mullen, age 88, of Tafton passed away Friday, March 28, 2025 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale.

Born April 15, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY, Barbara was the daughter of the late James and Filomena Angelina (Fenimore) Dempsey.

Barbara was a well-known realtor in the Lake Wallenpaupack area, working for many years with Davis R. Chant Realtors until her retirement. Beloved by her family, Barbara was an extraordinary person. Her warm smile and zest for life drew people in to her circle. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and flowers.

She is survived by one daughter: Susan Patricia Mullen of Bluffton, SC; one son: Christopher Mullen of Boca Raton, FL; her partner and longtime friend: Paul Mason of Tafton; and three grandchildren: Samantha, Brendan and Ryan Mullen and one great grandson, Danny Mullen.

Barbara was preceded in death by a son, William F. Mullen Jr., two grandchildren, Christopher and Liam Mullen.

Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
