Diane P. Giampapa, 74, of Hawley, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence Charles Giampapa. Now reunited in heaven, they are together once again, likely dancing to The Rolling Stones. Diane was born on September 22, 1950, in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Paul and Pearl Josephine (Bilsborough) Russo. Diane worked for many years as a hostess and server at Pinehurst Country Lodge in Greeley until her retirement in 2001. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a love for reading and always enjoyed a nice cup of Red Rose tea. She is survived by her children, Constance Maughan and her husband Kevin of Farmingdale, NY; Kristi Lauersen and her husband Mike of Hawley, PA; Lisa Buonocore of Coral Springs, FL; and Lawrence Giampapa Jr. and his wife Lauren of Allentown, PA. Diane was a loving grandmother to Drianna and her husband Matthew and their daughter Clara Grace, Diane's first great grandchild, Carissa, Vincent, Sara, Paige, Diana, Joseph, Daniel, Gia, and Eli. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735. Cremation services were entrusted to Lake Region Cremation in Lake Ariel, PA.
