Alicia Sue Martinez, age 56, of Hawley passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore.

Born August 14, 1968, in Honesdale, Alicia was a graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School, Class of 1986. She worked as a cashier at a number of local businesses.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Kevin Martinez, in 2002.

Alicia had a love for motorcycles. She also had an artistic side and enjoyed baking and gardening.

Alicia took the time to appreciate the little things in life, a lesson that her sons try to remember as they carry on with life missing her deeply.

She is survived by two sons who were the light of her life: Gaven Layne Roberts and Brayden Trey Roberts, both of Hawley; one brother: Donald Houman of Dallas, PA; a sister-in-law: Brenda Annable of Hawley; a niece: Chelcea Annable of Honesdale; a nephew: Anthony Annable of Seattle, WA; and four great nieces and nephews: Devin, Madilynn, Claiton and Kaelyn.

Cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
