







Obituary of Michael John Chiuchiolo Sr.

Michael J Chiuchiolo Sr. was born Dec 22, 1947, and passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 1, 2025, at age 77 after an extended illness.
A 1965 graduate of Butler High School in NJ, Michael went on to serve his country in the US Coast Guard and did so proudly for 4 years with an honorable discharge on Feb 27th, 1970. He lived in several NJ towns throughout his life -Bloomingdale, Riverdale and West Milford, before settling in Lakeville, PA by Lake Wallenpaupack.
Michael had a strong work ethic and began his career at UPS in Bergen County and NY State before moving on as a proud Teamster with Local 560 for Eastern Concrete in Riverdale which was originally Raia Industries. He retired in 2005. He was also a small business owner of Modern Educational Literature, Inc in Bloomingdale NJ.
In his younger years, Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing in Western Pa. He was passionate about motorcycling, boating, jet skiing and staying in his camping trailers at Lake Wallenpaupack where he made countless memories with many friends and family. Known for his love of a great party, Michael could always be found singing, dancing and sharing a good laugh -preferably with a fine Scotch in hand!!! You could always count on Michael's quick wit and a great sense of humor and was always ready with a joke!
Michael was predeceased by his second wife Bonnie, his parents Georgia and John Chiuchiolo, and his half-brothers Ralph and John Chiuchiolo.
He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Patterson, who, along with her extended family, loved him dearly. He is also survived by his 1st wife Floran and their children together-Theresa and Michael Jr., his children with 2nd wife Bonnie-Dawn ( and husband Dave) and David( and wife Jen) , ten grandchildren-Nikki ( and husband Chris) , Zack( and wife Kaitlyn) , Mike (and wife Alicia), Johnny, Andrew ( and wife Tiffany) , Noah , Alissandra , Chloe , Kaitlyn, Aiden and three great-grandchildren-JD, Trent, Madi . He is also remembered fondly by his niece Laurie, who was like a sister to him , his close cousin Jayne and several other nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Michael's wishes, there will be no immediate services. A memorial / celebration of life will be held at a later date following cremation.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
