Obituary of Patricia Anne Hartshorn

Patricia Anne Hartshorn, age 84, of Tafton died Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale. Mrs. Hartshorn was born April 13, 1941, in New York City and was the daughter of the late George and Harriett (Mertz) Bell. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth R. Hartshorn in 2013. Patty was a member of the WAHS class of 1958. She worked for Chapman Insurance in the office and as an agent. She was an avid reader and enjoyed concerts at Harmony in The Woods, playing cards with friends and attending the Hawley Senior Center She is survived by three daughters: Laurie Marie Rider of Allentown, PA, Kimberly Anne and her husband, Mark Kirsten of Tafton, PA and Tricia Alison and her husband, Robert Klopp of Barrington, NJ, and one son: Kenneth Thomas Hartshorn and his companion, Mary Ann Roy of Burlington, VT; nine grandchildren, Brian and his wife, Emily Rider, Matthew Rider, Dana and her husband Joe Foster, Kelly and her husband, Eric Usbeck, Tyler Kirsten, Abigail Kirsten, Peyton Klopp, Colby Klopp, Lyla Klopp; four great grandchildren, Emmit & June Rider; Lily & Carter Usbeck, one brother and sister-in-law, George & Valerie Bell of Bethany, PA. A celebration of life will be held at a date to be announced. Inurnment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Paupack. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hawley Senior Center, 337a Park Pl, Hawley, PA 18428.
