Mark Spaide, age 50, of Lackawaxen passed away Monday, September 8, 2025. He was born October 5, 1974 in Elizabeth, NJ and was the son of Wesley Spaide and the late Phyllis Jenkins Spaide.

Mark Spaide loved the river and being outdoors in any way possible. He was never happier than casting a line or drifting downstream, surrounded by people he loved.

Known to many as DJ Spaide, Mark had a deep love for music and was known for bringing life to any party. Music wasn't just a hobby; it was how he shared love.

Mark was also a maker: of pickles, of wine, of laughter, and of unforgettable memories. He gave his time, his energy, and his whole heart generously. If you needed help, he was there, no questions asked.

More than anything, Mark lived well. He had fun. Real, can't-stop-smiling kind of fun. And he made sure the people around him did too.

He is survived by one daughter: Zoe Spaide; his father & stepmother, Wesley & Josephine Spaide; his girlfriend, Laura Tellefsen; his stepchildren, Amy & Robert Tellefsen; two grandchildren, Charlotte & Emmett Davis; three step sisters: Mary Spera, Patricia Colaianni and Angela Lopez, and one step brother: Joseph Sacchieri.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 13th from 1-5 PM at Veterans’ Memorial Park, Scenic Drive, Lackawaxen, PA 18435.
