I grew up calling Gladys and Charlie Grandma and Grandpa- just like Kim and Vickie- and would argue with anyone who would try to tell me that I wasn’t their real granddaughter.
Through spending time at their house, I learned that the world was much larger than my hometown, while listening to the stories of Gram growing up in a world so far away. I will forever remember her infectious laugh and her delight in visiting people and staying up to date, while always willing to share her favorite funny stories from the past.
How blessed we were to have Gram for the time we were able to keep her! Miss you, Gram

I don't know where to start. Remarkable, charming, witty, loving, great friend ( I never looked at Gladys as a "resident") she was a big part of my family. The love and devotion when my granddaughter looked at her was indescribable❤️. I made a solemn promise to my Gladys i would never give up my CNA certificate because Gladys always said "Tabby you need to be there for people you show them love ❤️ " I can't be selfish she is with her family now. I will always hold her close until I take my last breath.

I am her great granddaughter (Samantha) and I will miss visiting her every year. We live so far away otherwise we would've visited more. She taught me how to knit, installed a love for White Christmas (movie), and more. My oldest daughter (her great great granddaughter) has her middle name as a first name. I'll forever have a piece of her with me. I adore her.
