Geraldine C. "Geri" Reid, age 78, of Fair Bluff, NC, died Thursday, January 22, 2026, at McLeod Health Loris, Loris, SC.

Born May 31, 1947, in Bronx, NY, Geri was the daughter of the late Frederick Leonard and Maureen Elizabeth (Herrmann) Thek. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William H. "Wink" Reid, in 2023.

She was an accounts payable clerk for Wallenpaupack Area School District until her retirement.

Over the years, Geri had been a member of Hawley United Methodist Church, Hawley Volunteer Ambulance Company, president of the union of support personnel at Wallenpaupack Area High School, and past president of the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by one son: John D. Reid and his wife Tammi of Hawley; one daughter: Rebecca A. Mead and her husband Scott of Hawley; and four grandchildren: Alexandra Pospisil and her husband Marc; Shawn Reid and his wife Olivia, Hunter Mead and his wife Ashley, and Zachary Mead and his wife Rebecca; and three great grandchildren: Layla, Liam and Mason.
